Occupational

Occupational psychologists help organisations and business support teams and their employees to increase job satisfaction, reduce stress and burnout, and retain workers.

The work can involve learning how to motivate their staff, improve the recruitment processes and introduce wellbeing skills. Occupational psychologists may also design and utilise psychological tests as a way of measuring people’s suitability and predicted longevity for a particular role.

“The occupational psychologist really understood the ethos of our company, and worked with us to improve staff recruitment. Reports of staff wellbeing and morale increased too, and I am proud that we can continue to build a company that understands and act on our values.”
